I guess we know whos running the death panels now.

Huge boon to Medicare budget problems, not so good news to cancer patients.

Cancer clinics across the country have begun turning away thousands of Medicare patients, blaming the sequester budget cuts.

Oncologists say the reduced funding, which took effect for Medicare on April 1, makes it impossible to administer expensive chemotherapy drugs while staying afloat financially.

Patients at these clinics would need to seek treatment elsewhere, such as at hospitals that might not have the capacity to accommodate them.

“If we treated the patients receiving the most expensive drugs, we’d be out of business in six months to a year,” said Jeff Vacirca, chief executive of North Shore Hematology Oncology Associates in New York. “The drugs we’re going to lose money on we’re not going to administer right now.”

After an emergency meeting Tuesday, Vacirca’s clinics decided that they would no longer see one-third of their 16,000 Medicare patients.

“A lot of us are in disbelief that this is happening,” he said. “It’s a choice between seeing these patients and staying in business.”

Why does Obama hate people with cancer ? They're cutting into his vacation budget of course.

The goal is to get to a point where all American bodies are being maintained by the collective. In other words, we're all going to be paying for eachothers' maintenance. But what happens when the collective has a financial stake in your health? Doesn't it naturally follow that then since you're receiving some benefit from the collective in the form of bodily maintenance that they partially OWN your maintenance, and as such partially own your body? They are paying for it, aren't they?

So we can already see the fruits of the health care law: the collective gets to regulate our health. Some thimk the health care bill was never about health care. It was about gaining control over your personal property- your body. I think that's what it will come to..

Now, since it will be costing us all greatly if you're obese, have high blood pressure, poor exercise habits, eat at McD's too much, etc., then we get to regulate your salt intake, your BMI, and your health. Get it? Socializing medicine is indeed socialist, and it takes away your most prized property right: to your own body. When the collective pays for your maintenance and you're just a means of production for the economy of the collective, you are owned, body and all, by the collective. THAT to me is one of the scariest parts... You don't even get to own yourself, let alone make your own choices.

If someone has cancer and no health care...You support not helping them. why do you hate sick people who are poor?

You sound like a broken record. We have Obamacare now, everything is good. Until you get sick that is, then the government gets to decide if you should get treatment or not.

A lot of people are going to die and the Canadians won't be coming here for treatment either.
