Like God raised up Pharaoh, Carville shows signs that God raised him up to show His eternal power and glory by exposing his disrespect for good and God.
 
There is no evidence that the plagues mentioned in Exodus ever happened. There is also no evidence that the number of Hebrew slaves mentioned in Exodus is n any way accurate, or that hundreds of thousands of Hebrews lived in Sinai. Nothing would jollify the Israelis more than to find evidence of this, and Israeli archaeologists are quite competent, and they have found nothing.
