The Berlin Wall existed because of supply and demand. East Germany had educated people, and paid them perhaps a living wage.

But West Germany had a short supply of educated people and paid much more in wages.

I thought the wall was to keep East Berliners from escaping communism. It seems clear that West Berliners were not trying to escape capitalism and freedom by trying to cross the wall into East Berlin. There were no guards to stop West Berliners trying to flee capitalism like the armed guards preventing East Berliners from escaping communism.

The motive was wages and accessibility to products and services. East Germany was the most prosperous of the Warsaw Pct countries, but it was run by an authoritarian state with secret police: like the Shitshizpants wants to impose on Americans, with concentration camps, ICE goons, and incompetent MAGA morons running everything.

This year, more people are leaving the US than are entering it. This has not happened in all of US history. People are FLEEING Shitshizpants.

Trump has offered to pay illegal immigrants to leave the US but millions of them want to stay here rather than go back to their dirt hole native lands.
