Yes, you are correct. Even Forbes Magazine had an article about how ignorant the Tea Baggers are on the issues they protest, like taxes and deficits. Surveys taken at their protests showed they thought taxes were 3 times higher than they actually are. They were not aware that 40% of Obamas Recovery Act was tax cuts or that taxes are considerably lower by every measure since Obama took office. On the deficit issue, they were not aware that during the past 50 years Republican administrations have spent more than Democratic ones and run up higher deficits.
