You mentioned one key thing: Getting Democrats out of office. Very important that this is done, so all these big companies can start creating jobs again.

The Big Companies are not interested in creating jobs, but they are interested in creating larger bonuses for their upper managment. Quite often, by laying off people.

Well said!

Why then do most people work in the private sector?

That is rapidly changing. More people are seeking jobs in the public sector then at any time in history.

Hell, wouldn't you if you could get paid 71,000 for doing the same thing for 45,000 in the private sector/ Then there is the free health insurance, and the guarnateed pension which amounts to 2/3's of your salary, or more in some States, after working only 20 to 30 years. Then you can get another job for the government, and get yet another pension. Add to that the SS money you can get at age 62, and well, you can see how it goes.

And, for those who might be interested, there are far more Democrat millionaires in office then Republican. Is it any wonder why the Democrats keep giving benefits to the big businesses while whining about the abuses of those benefitting from those programs?

The reason for my question was that samsara15 claimed that big companies are not interested in creating jobs, that would be very incorrect when we can see the figures tell a different story; most people work in companies.

Absolutely, that's the challenge the United States is facing, a direct consequence of this change will be a greater government and more control and involvement in people's private affairs.

Absolutely. Hypocrisy at its best.

Yeah....the worst-economy, since The DEPRESSION, can DO that (See: Unemployment  )!!

"Even better, since the President knew the economy was truly in good shape, once he got his tax cut passed, he could stop pretending there was a bad economy looming, and instead claim there would have been a downturn, but his tax cut saved the day.

Problem was, that A) his constant "bad economy" claim truly began to wreck the economy B) 9/11 came along, and furthered the snowball."

Interest is hard-to-gauge, but...the bottom-line will always be Priority One, for Big Companies.

The last time we had a good-economy was the '90s....making these stats the most-accurate. (They kinda favor The Big$.)

Even during the 90's the average wage was going down except for the government employee, and the CEO.

It is time to get away from the idea that what is good for the corporation is good for Ameirca. It aiin't working, and unfortunately it is government, both GOP, and Dem, that is making ti happen.

BTW, Dick Armey only "controls" one group of many in the Tea Party.

How many groups does Soros control such as MoveOn.org; MediaMatters; etc.?

It's the most persistent hate group in human history.

There is an institutional racism problem in the United States. The institution is the Democrat Party. No, there was no cross-partisan, musical chairs switcheroo in the late ’60s. Of the racist “Dixiecrats” who did leave, all but three rejoined the Democrat Party; not until the ’80s did more white Southerners join the GOP, and not until the mid-’90s did Republicans pick up southern congressional and state legislature seats.
The Democrat Party.

Stupidity claims old guard Democrats flipped to the GOP after they discovered hating blacks was not working out for them.

I have no respect for morons who rewrite history to concur with their demented deranged politically biased views of history.
True .
Only morons don't understand how blacks went Democratic after lbj pushed civil rights acts in 1960s after which the south became solid republican. Facts are facts lol

No matter how historians write history according to their biased perspectives, God-honoring Christians never joined political groups to dishonor God and hate righteousness and justice.
