It is simple. If cops come to a house full of murderers holding hostages like Hamas murderers in Palestine, then some of those hostages may get killed before the problem is resolved. Look at how Clinton and Reno handled the Branch Davidian affair (not that I approve of that fiasco.)

yes I do "gripe" about the fact that isreal is doing the exact thing they've done over and over which has failed over and over.

The procedures used in different states did not always verify signatures, verify immigrant status, verify prison record, verify that nobody voted multiple times, verify that no dead people voted, verify that no fake voters voted, and so forth. To verify all ballots were legitimate is a task so monumental that it would be all but impossible to achieve. That fact was no doubt not lost on Democrats or courts facing the daunting task of attempting to verify the certify the election or prove no significant fraud occurred.
