Bain Capital, "pioneers in outsourcing"

Yes and how do we find common ground with a political opponent who's goal is completely incompatible with ours? This is why the Rs must show back bone and response to compromise with the liberals/communists in the D party.

Hopefully the TP puts many more members in Congress this November because I have little faith in most of the Rs.

You always have to ask yourself; "how did this happen"? and "how do we fix it"? The Tea Party is a start, but we are so behind with "organizing". Also, if the "Rs" don't get education out of the hands of the progressives, I'm afraid we are just whistling past the grave yard.

Even if you're correct, and I doubt it, isn't it hypocritical of Romney to promise keeping jobs in America when he was the "pioneer" of outsourcing?

David: Gibber is correct when he says that Obama has outsourced more jobs than any private business in the US has. Actually, Obama isn't to blame all by himself. Democrats in Congress and RINO Republicans have aided in destroying US jobs. The governments juvenile intervention into the conduct of private businesses has increased the costs of those businesses, and has made US businesses less competitive. When the cost-structures of US businesses are controlled by ignorant government beaurocrats, those businesses do whatever's necessary to be competitive. The steps taken to become competitive include moving jobs and plants to locations where costs can be lowered.

The ignorance of leftwingers is mindboggling when it comes to how business works. The leftwing does all it can to increase union benefits, increase the minimum wage to attract young voters, place unnecessary environmental controls on US companies, and encouraging ridiculous lawsuits against US businesses, all of which makes the cost of doing business in the US higher. Then, these same ignorant leftwingers scream about those companies who try to save themselves by reducing their costs overseas. What alternative do they have? Should they keep jobs in the US and go bankrupt???

I spent most of my career in positions aimed at making private businesses as competitive as they could be. When all other alternatives are exhausted. companies must often out-source part or all of their direct-costs to overseas plants and workers. Such out-sourcing does indeed take some jobs out of the US. At the same time, other US jobs in those same companies may well prosper and survive due to the out-sourcing. If sending some jobs overseas is necessary to keep a business viable and thus keep some US workers employed, is it smarter to make all the jobs stay in the US until ALL the workers are unemployed?

There is a universal truth........ government is by nature "stupid"! If we're lucky enough this time to elect a President who actually understands business, perhaps he could smarten-up some of the dummies in Congress? Barack Obama and his Democrat cohorts do NOT understand business! Their lack of business smarts threatens to kill more millions of US jobs if they're allowed to continue in power!

Agree 100%.

I would add that BO & Friends don't really care about private businesses....at least the ones that fail to give them lots of campaign cash. They believe capitalism is a failure and they hate when private firms make a profit. Profit is a terrible dirty word to a socialist. They do not care that their burdensome policies cause Americans to lose their jobs. I suspect BO could care less what the unemployment rate is and yet, many of those who are unemployed voted for the Skinny Socialist. It is really very sad that so many Americans are uninformed about what their politicians and government are doing.

It's my understanding that the thinking with this bunch is to destroy the free market and have all modes of production owned by the State. i.e. taking over 26% of our economy with the unaffordable health care act.
