Bias, Propaganda or the Truth

Over the last few months, the mainstream media, along with the help of the DNC (Democrat National Committee), has created countless scenarios of cursory stories that have continued to divide a nation and appease an enemy.

During World War I, President Woodrow Wilson faced invidious attempts against his foreign policies by self-proclaimed Socialist and Progressives. Meanwhile, more than fifteen million immigrants flooded into the United States from Europe. Anti-Americanism began to grow and propaganda was spread by people who did not agree with Wilson’s foreign policies.

President Wilson and the Congress agreed on the passage of the Sedition Bill of 1918. The bill was introduced to Congress at the urging of Wilson’s U.S. Attorney General, A. Mitchel Palmer. This legislation made it illegal to attempt to change the government or laws of the United States. In time, the case was presented before the Supreme Court of the United States. In the case Schenck v. the United States, the Supreme Court upheld the legislation ruling the government did have the right to repress free speech in time of a “national emergency.”

Now the United States is in the middle of the “War on Terror.” This faceless enemy, Islamic Fascism, has declared a “Holy Jihad” against America. The Islamic Fascists, who will not show themselves until they surface to kill innocent victims, have declared themselves the enemy of the United States. Repeatedly, the media has repressed the rights of the American people to know the truth about the Islamic Fascists. What the media and seditionist do not seem to understand is this enemy does not care if an American is a Democrat, a Republican, an Independent, or someone who does not pay attention to politics. All these Islamic Fascists know is they hate America, and the citizens of this great nation.

Yet, the media does not report the true story behind this enemy, Islamic Fascism. The media skews polling data, chooses the news of the day, and pushes an agenda that masks the truth. The media will not be honest and explain to the American people that the Islamic Fascists are willing to give their all to destroy America.

Moreover, the media has proven their absolute disdain and antipathy towards the leader of the free world, President George W. Bush. By committing such seditious acts, the media has placed the American military, the American people, and the continued existence of America as a country at stake.

Unfortunately, the mainstream media has been furtive and surreptitious with the American people. In fact, the media has been disingenuous to all freedom loving people around the world. Furthermore, the mainstream media believes that the American people are fatuous and superficial. Therefore, the media feeds meretricious stories to the viewers and readers on a daily basis. Thus, now is the time for Americans and freedom loving people around the world to demand that the media tell the truth when reporting the news.

Americans are far from superficial and fatuous, but Americans have to begin to pay attention to the world around them. Every time a story comes on the news condemning the President of the United States or the troops during a time of war, the American people must ask such questions as, why such a story? Who is really the enemy? The time has come for the American people to tell the media they want the whole story. If not, then the media will continue to see their numbers plummet.

In days gone by, President Wilson, the Congress, and the Supreme Court believed when America was in the middle of a war, free speech in certain areas can be questioned. With millions of immigrants pouring into American today, along with fifteen to twenty million Illegal aliens in this country, who supports the American government? Who is the enemy within America’s borders? The mainstream media is not asking these questions or allowing their viewers to know the truth.

The Founding Fathers believed in Freedom of the Press to educate the populace not to spread bias and propaganda. The media has for far too long promoted their prejudice and tried to indoctrinate a callow Ideology that hides behind a thirty-second sound byte. The American people and freedom loving people around the world must be the ones to demand the media report the truth, which must be void of propaganda and bias.

Good point. History might have been different if the German people had opened their eyes and demanded accountability from their media for Hitler's actions.
