I remember the fiery posts of Carl Rowan who advocated that anyone caught with a gun in DC should go straight to jail without stopping to be due processed by courts. However, Carl was not talking about himself, of course, especially after he was arrested for shooting an unarmed black teenager in his backyard with an unregistered firearm.
