Christians are told to fear God.
But the Bible claims that "God is love".

Pull out your orb, gaze into it and ponder for a while about the possibility of loving and fearing the same thing.
The only sort of figure that fits such emotions are possibly volcanoes.
Traditional Hawaiians seem to fear and love Kiluea, as Pele, a volcano god.

Of course, if not for volcanoes, there would be no Hawai'ian islands. Most of the Pacific Islands are volcanic in one way or another.
