This just in from our friends across the pond: "Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has said he will step down when his current term expires in 2013, following the defeat of his reform proposals.... 'The reforms did not get passed, so I will have to leave power in 2013.'"
What I find funny is that he half seems like he's trying to pull some kind of reverse psychology move on people: "It's too bad you didn't pass my referendum, now I won't be able to be President any more. I hope the bad guys don't come in and undo all the good I've done. If only there weren't any term limits."
