However, for the clarity of others, let me point out some things. Obama is not a socialist. Obama is a capitalist. The first thing President B.O. did when he came to office was give away hundreds of billions of dollars to the rich people. Obama believes in welfare-for-the-rich just like any other capitalist politician.
Unfortunately, we do not have socialism in our country. We pay lots of taxes and that tax money goes to lots of war, bailouts for the rich, warehousing 2 million people behind prison bars every night in this war on drugs, etc.
If we lived in a socialist society your tax money would go to free quality medical care, free higher education, free quality childcare, excellent public transportation, better public schools, better public libraries, and rebuilding our nations dilapidated infrastructure.
Under socialism everyone would have the right to a job, and the minimum wage would be doubled.
I am not talking about the "socialism" of Western Europe. I'm speaking of the socialism of Lenin and Trotsky.
Under capitalism in America the wealthiest 1% of the population own nearly half of the wealth, according to the New York Times. Under socialism that ill-begotten wealth would be confiscated and used for the greater good of society.
Under capitalism in America we have endless war. These wars are bankrupting our nation. However, these wars are good for the capitalist war profiteers. As long as we have capitalism we will have endless war.
I defend Iran against American imperialism. No war with Iran. It is up to the Iranian people to overthrow their own government. The enemy of the American people is not in Iran. Iran is not foreclosing on American homes. Iran did not ruin our economy with derivative schemes. The enemy of the American people is on Wall Street, not in Iran.
The fact that Barack Obama is bullying Iran just like George Bush shows that both the Democrats and Republicans are warmongers.
