Zhou Mei, a local resident in Haidian district, had to leave her car at the West Third Ring Road after it broke down in the water. She took off her shoes and carried her son home on her back."The government should do something about the drainage system," Zhou said.

Underneath the Zhichunlu cityrail station, the whole road was covered by 2.5-metres deep water, where two cars were stuck. After the incident, the traffic police blocked roads, a policeman swam to find the driver. At about 22:00, rescue work was still underway, but the police did not yet found the drivers nearby.

The corrupt CCP can do what? How to ensure the olympics?Implore God(Laotianye)?

How does bad weather relate to the CCP being corrupt exactly? I am sure there are numerous examples of this, but please, if you want to talk about corruption focus on that, and not the weather.

Of course this is probably a problem in most bureaucratic nations. There would need to be investigations to prove this, but they probably will not be coming.
