Former Trump attorney Kenneth Chesebro, one of the architects in the former president’s fake elector plot, may have a "perjury" problem over his testimony to a Nevada grand jury.
The Washington Post on Monday reported on a cache of documents in the Nevada grand jury probe of the fake elector scheme, including Chesebro's statements to the panel.
Chesebro told the grand jury that he saw "pending litigation" as pivotal to the plot to overturn Trump's 2020 loss.
“The whole point of the alternate elector plan that we arrived at in Wisconsin is the idea is we make sure that we have the extra three weeks to try to win the lawsuit," the right-wing lawyer said, according to a transcript. "If there isn't any lawsuit then there's no need for this to be done because there's no lawsuit that would be won before January 6th."
However, in an email sent in December of 2020, Chesebro alleged, "I think having the electors send in alternate slates of votes on Dec. 14 can pay huge dividends even if there is no litigation pending on Jan. 6," effectively undercutting his statement.
"There is no barrier to Congress (here, we're talking the Senate, assuming it's still controlled by Republicans) deliberating on which electoral slate to count,” the email continued, “even if one electoral slate is endorsed by the governor, after all litigation is final — indeed, even if the slate met the Dec. 8 'safe harbor' deadline."


Uh oh. chesebro lied to a grand jury in Nevada. He knows this is illegal yet he did it anyway.

Now, he is at risk of prosecution for the perjury and disciplinary problems with the state bar.

I hope they prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law.

The key to this whole charade is the fact that the Democrats stole the election by fraud and are now punishing innocent Americans for objecting to the seditious theft.

The Democrats stole the election. Moves to restore the legitimacy of the election is not trying to overturn an election but to right an election that has already been overturned.

The fact that Democrats illegally protect voting rolls from required purges of ineligible voters, illegally register non-Americans to vote, prevent investigators from accessing those records, refuse to allow examinations of thousands of vulnerable voting machines, mailed millions of ballots to wrong addresses or ineligible voters without verifying the legitimacy of those voters to receive ballots, and so much more, not only proves that voting fraud has not been disproven but that democrats continue to support avenues for fraud that are extremely difficult or impossible to investigate because of the lack of funds, lack of time in man-hours to do so, or blocked by obstinate officials who continue to "fight like hell" to prevent those investigations.

Because of government and political opposition to investigations, we do not know how many hundreds, thousands, or hundreds of thousands of illegals voted, we do not know how many hundreds or thousands or tens of thousands of votes that were cast in the names of the dead, we do not know how many tens of thousands or more votes were cast in the names of ineligible voters whose names should have been removed from voting rolls, we do not know how many fake votes may have been invented and cast by corrupted voting machines, We do not know how many voters voted multiple times, or how many voters illegally voted in out-of-state precincts, and so forth.

Since few investigations were done and those that were done were hobbled by resistance from government officials, we may never know how many illegitimate ballots were cast for Biden. However, the fact that no proof or very little proof has been derived from acceptable investigations makes Democrats just as wrong to assume the election was not stolen as Republicans may be wrong to assume the election was stolen.
