For two hundred years the church has radically oposed evolution and in many places still does
Some have seen that it is inassailable and so have hijacked it with their made up story of intelligent design
Before that most christians thought that creation happened as per genesis
If it didn't why doesn't the bible teach us evolution?
Or anything else that was not obvious to ignorant people a few thousand years ago
But then the church locked up Galileo for saying he earth goes round the sun because the bible says the opposite.
How can you take a book or institution seriously that states sonmething as wrong as that?
