Maradona 'doing well' in hospital

Argentine former football star Diego Maradona is recovering well after being taken to hospital suffering the effects of alcohol abuse, doctors say.

Maradona, who was admitted to the Buenos Aires clinic on Wednesday, remained sedated, its director said.

What a shame, Maradona could probably have brought more victories to his country but his addiction really hurt him. In the end I really respect Pelé a lot more for his sportsmanship and what he has done out of the playing field.
