This in a nutshell is why the race narrative of the left is so destructive and divisive and immoral.

McDonalds is running an ad on BET advertising their support for black clothes designers. According to the ad only 7.3% of clothes are designed by so called black designers. That of course is discriminatory and McDonalds is doing something about it!

I'm guessing that while they want to pander to black folks for their business they would like much of the rest of America to not know about this ad because it might push those customers away.

As always the narrative is blurred. What constitutes a black designer? What are black clothes as opposed to white clothes or other people clothes? Perhaps fewer black kids are interested in that profession or not as good at it.

Don't most black folks dress the same as everybody else?

In any event this should not be McDonald's fight they just want to pander without most of the country knowing about it.

How is it not a good thing for McDonald's to help Black designers get the training they need to further their careers?
Yeah, sure, McDonald's wants to sell food to customers. Why is this not a valid ad campaign?

Pandering appealing business decisions blah blah blah.

What’s your evidence that McDonald does not want the rest of Americans know about this? It is easy to make claims. Another thing to support them.

I don't think that McDonalds is hiding this ad from anyone. Obviously, it is more useful to broadcast it to an audience that has a high percentage of Black people. It is a positive message, as I said.

Starcastle's pretty-obviously suspicious about how minorities are all-of-a-sudden in possession of increased expendable-income....'CAUSE MADISON AVENUE CERTAINLY HAS NOTICED!!!!
.
"Don’t overlook the $pending power of minority groups in America. African Americans are projected to spend $1.8 Trillion on goods and services by 2024 and the buying power of the LGBTQ+ community worldwide reached $3.7 Trillion in 2019.

Not only do minority groups have huge spending power, but these tightly knit communities’ have a huge impact on pop culture and mainstream media. A 2016 report by Nielson said that
African-American millennials are 25% more likely than all millennials to say they are among the first of their friends/colleagues to try new products, echoing the fact that minorities are pivotal in creating trends and ultimately influencing purchase decisions."
