This is what I want to hear in regards to this unemployment issue. Republicans and Democrats say they both have a plan on how to fix this economy. Well let's hear them....oh wait we have....The democrats just want to throw money at the problem eg the stimulus package. Now this was started by Bush back in 2008 with the approval of the congress at the time. So we all know that it's a fact. Republicans want to cut taxes for small business and the middle class and say that is the only way to bring jobs back...ok. So lets say we do give tax cuts to the middle class and small businesses, What about the local and state governments? Are they going to give tax cuts as well? Why is it only the Fed's are the ones who should give tax cuts. I know some of you will say well the Fed's charge the most when it comes to taxes??? Really? So property taxes and sales taxes have nothing to do with helping out the middle class and small businesses??? So when it gets thrown around about cutting the gas tax on the fed side will states follow suit??? Doubt it. Will states lower their sales tax to help out those who need it the most??? Doubt that one too. So it just ain't the Fed's who should cut taxes it should be across the board but when it gets brought up regarding how states should approach this. A majority of Republicans in D.C. conveniently stay quite on this issue. I wonder why that is? As for the Democrats well their a lost cause as well.
