No. It has nothing to do with survival of the fittest, if that is what you are insinuating.

Jesus did not preach only the strongest will inherit the Kingdom of God?

If it has nothing to do with survival of the fittest, what, exactly does it have to do with?

No, Jesus didn't preach that. He certainly did preach that we are to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Do you believe that loving your neighbor includes standing by doing nothing while your neighbor wallows in poverty?

WTH...do you think its 1933 when FDR F**K the nation's poor with big government policies that always fail...just like your Messiah is doing now? This caused tremendous hardships for people during the 30's and is under BO.

You see your silly socialism is the problem.

The poverty you speak of does not exist in America. Most who live in poverty have all the modern conveniences.

And besides, don't you beleive in SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE? Of course you do. And, you likely do not even believe God exists. Yet you use Him to try an promote your socialism to enslave the poor to government handouts.

Very Sad!

Just to be clear on what you are saying, Jesus was a socialist. Got it.

poll: Dislike of healthcare law crosses party lines, 1 in 4 dems want repeal
by bob cusack - 10/06/10 05:55 am et

healthcare reform is hurting the reelection chances of freshman democrats in the house, according to the hill/anga poll.

A majority of voters in key battleground districts favor repeal of the legislative overhaul congress passed this year.

President obama predicted in the spring that the new law would become popular as people learned more about it. But the poll shows republicans strongly oppose it, independents are wary of it and a surprising number of democrats also want it overturned.

suckers!!!!

Just 26 percent of Americans want to repeal health care law
11:53 am September 28, 2010, by ctucker

House Minority Leader John Boehner — perhaps the House Speaker-in-waiting — believes that Republicans have a sure-fire winner in his pledge to repeal the Affordable Health Care Act. He believes that the new law is so roundly unpopular that the GOP can only gain adherents by rolling it back.
Not so fast.
A new Kaiser poll has found that more voters like the law than not:

The tug of war for public opinion on health reform continues this month, with approval and disapproval staying in the same relatively narrow band each has occupied since passage even as favorable views regain a small upper hand, 49 percent favorable vs. 40 percent unfavorable. Opinion is more closely divided among this fall’s likely voters (46 percent vs. 45 percent), and opponents of the law continue to hold their views more emphatically than supporters. Overall, 26 percent of Americans believe the law should be repealed.

It’s true that confusion reigns about the new law, largely due to a relentless disinformation campaign by Republicans. But there is a lot more confusion than anger, as the following chart shows (h/t Daily Dish):

6a00d83451c45669e2013487c460b4970c-550wi.png

And here is where is gets more interesting. According to a recent Associated Press poll, many of the voters who are disappointed wanted the new law to do more, not less.

A new AP poll finds that Americans who think the law should have done more outnumber those who think the government should stay out of health care by 2-to-1.

“I was disappointed that it didn’t provide universal coverage,” said Bronwyn Bleakley, 35, a biology professor from Easton, Mass.. .

The poll found that about four in 10 adults think the new law did not go far enough to change the health care system, regardless of whether they support the law, oppose it or remain neutral. On the other side, about one in five say they oppose the law because they think the federal government should not be involved in health care at all.

It will be interesting to see just how far the GOP pushes the idea of repealing the Affordable Health Care Act.

In throes of recession, D.C. stands apart
Federal spending insulates region

By Patrice Hill
Throughout the recession, one major city stood out as an oasis for jobs and growth: Washington, D.C.

Supported by a gusher of federal borrowing and spending, the District of Columbia was the nation's only metropolitan area that never stopped growing. It stood as a beacon for the nation's millions of job hunters, from recent college graduates seeking careers in civil service to well-heeled lawyers cashing in on a bonanza of work stemming from health care and financial reform.

Being the center of government, Washington is used to being insulated from national economic trends. But the disconnect became particularly pronounced during the Great Recession — thanks to the federal government's own expansionary response.

Isn't large centralized government grand?

Government of the government, by the government, for the government...always f's the people...

DC also has higher rent rates than NYC and yet, some foolish Americans think we are a capitalist nation...oh the ignorance....

Hey Libs, did you know King Obama and Queen Michelle are going to India?

Can you imagine what your lib media outlets would be SCREAMING if W did this? Yet, they say nothing when the Skinny Socialist and his Queen commit atrocities.

At least we can get some critical news from the Euro press on our Dear Leader.

Bomb-proof tunnel with air conditioning: Obama's security go to extraordinary measures for his tour of the Gandhi museum

By Daily Mail Reporter
* American warships to patrol off Mumbai during visit
* Coconuts removed from trees as a precaution
* 250 U.S. business executives with Obama on 'biggest ever trade mission'
* $200million Asia trip cost denied but the President will have huge entourage

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle arrived in India's commercial hub of Mumbai on Saturday, days after voters punished his Democrats in mid-term elections.

Probably not since the days of the Pharaohs or the more ludicrous Roman Emperors has a head of state travelled in such pomp and expensive grandeur as the President of the United States of America.

While lesser mortals – the Pope, Queen Elizabeth and so on – are usually happy to let their hosts handle most of the security and transport arrangements when they venture beyond their home shores, the United States creates a mini-America on the move to ensure that nothing is left to chance.

Saudi king recovering

Reuters

Last Updated: 2:55 AM, November 25, 2010
RIYADH -- Saudi Arabia's elderly King Abdullah, in New York for medical treatment, has undergone a "successful operation," Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television said yesterday.

The king, thought to be 86 or 87 years old, arrived in New York Monday to seek treatment after a blood clot complicated a slipped spinal disc.

Dubai-based Al Arabiya gave no further details.

A frail Crown Prince Sultan, who has health problems of his own, has returned from abroad to govern the world's largest oil exporter, while Abdullah is away for an unspecified period.

The kingdom is keen to show its allies in Washington and elsewhere there will be no power vacuum as health problems beset its octogenarian rulers, but the question of whether a reformist or a conservative will take over remains a matter of concern.

The USA has the best heath care in the world. That has never been in dispute. It has the best in the World for those who have the money to pay for it...the rest sit in the emergency room. The Saudi King will go directly to his private room and get the best of what the system has to offer. What would a homeless, uninsured person get?

Are you claiming a homeless person does not get HC in the USA? Are you also claiming that only the very wealthy get good HC in the USA?

Are you also claiming that a homeless person and those without great wealth get care in the socialistic HC systems that is better than the USA?

If so, prove it.

I will, after you prove that liberalism is a mental disorder.
