In the aftermath of the recent election, I noticed how the lib video media under-reported this - no "gay marriage" now in California AND florida and arizona.

Libs and the gay lobby of course will of course not settle for this. Libs and socialists have always supported vox populi AS LONG AS they make the "correct" choice. When they don't, time to look up a lib judge who will make his own non-democratic law, from the bench.

a judge just made way for gay marriage
In Connecticut days after 3 states
Voted it down

This was called a victory

I think it has to be passed by a MAJORITY
Of the voters to be called a real victory

Judges just push their will, it's not
The same

Hmm...let's see if I get your reasoning right:

1. The "liberal media" underreported this story.

2. Here is an article from the "liberal media" reporting this story.

Prop 8 in California got lots of press because, on the national scale, that's big news - California being one of the first places to allow it. Florida and Arizona banning gay marriage is a footnote at best - far less important or interesting to most people.

Perhaps you should write to the nearest news agency and tell them that instead of a newspaper you'd prefer a nice long fact sheet delivered to your mailbox every day. I suspect you'd be happier.

Oh, please. Double standards again? Who was it calling Barack Obama's election "The Disaster" not even a week after his election?

We'll see.

Winston Churchill said the strongest argument against democracy was 5 minutes with the average voter.

There are certain issues that the masses are just not fit to judge which is why we generally have representative democracies where we cede the right to vote on issues to an individual who is hopefully sensible.

In many countries the death penalty would be reintroduced if there were a referendum but that does not stop it being barbaric.

If it were up to the people whether they should pay tax or not they probably wouldn't but taxation is essential to the running of a country.

The equality of gay people to marry should be guaranteed and not left up to the bigoted views of the religious sticking their huge nose into other people's business yet again.

What exactly is it about gay marriage that bugs you so much Libs?

Hey great - you can read!

2. Here is an article from the "liberal media" reporting this story.

Oops, I spoke too soon - you can't read. Is the NYT "video" media? Noooooooooo.......... Suggestion: instead of doing a quick scan, and then shifting into mouth gear, read what is actually said first.

Uh, sorry, you don't know what you're talking about. The lib media figured the gays would win in california, so they gave it a big build up. When the first initative passed, there was dead silence about it in the national media. If the gays had won in ANY of the three states, the lib media would be talking about for the next three months

Did I say I support vox populi? I don't remember saying that. Really, work on your reading comprehension.

They've ALREADY started - the city of LA and other lib redoubts have initiated a lawsuit to over =turn the new amendment. Anything ELSE I can clarify for you????
