Wow, where's Shadi when you need him...

Holy Smokes! That was the Democrats convention??? I thought it was a convention of Red Hat Ladies!

Silly me....

Problem is no one with a brain thinks you have to attract 100,000 people to be a viable candidate, which is most likely why McCain remains pretty close in the polls. (Bounces are fleeting, and it will settle back at 50-50 basically)

Is someone saying McSame isn't a viable candidate?

He most certainly is a viable and extremely dangerous candidate. And I encourage everyone to join in these large rallies for Senator Obama and go out into their communities and do absolutely everything possible tho stop McSame from a Bush 3rd term with just a little extra war.

That said you'd have to agree that the unprecedented, absolutely huge, swelling crowds can in no way be spun as "a bad thing".

Every politician wanting to get elected to office would be thrilled to death to get highly motivated supportive crowds coming to listening anywhere and every where they go... like Senator Obama and now Senator Biden can.

I was at the one in Dublin Ohio (high dollar Columbus suburb). We were given preferred position "yellow tickets" that allowed us to locate on the grounds right in front of the stage. We were 2nd to 3rd row right at center stage (it fluctuated standing).

It was a blistering 86 degrees no clouds, no wind. They expected to fill the extremely large west (home) side of the stadium and at least half of the football field and track (the stage was set up at the one end of the football field).

Not only did people start to show up in line at before 1:00 when the gates didn't open until 4:30 and the speakers didn't start till 6:30. But they filled to overflowing... The West (home) bleachers... the ENTIRE football field and track to the back fence... and they had to open up the East (visitors) bleachers and by 6:30 there was not a seat left even over there.

This is a good sign... a very, very good sign. We had a great time!

Yes they are getting massive crowds, but the problem for them is that these massive crowds are just a bunch of democrats, they are struggling to appeal to the independents who they will actually need to win the election. It will be close.

86 degrees is not hot. :p

That said, I am sure you had a good time at the rally, but I think most people are not swayed by huge rallies and want to hear them actually talk about issues, which is why I maintain the debates are what will win or lose this one.
