Also... As usual Andy is entirely correct about Socialism being perfectly acceptable on a state level. I have said that elsewhere, if states like California and Michigan want a European style Socialist Welfare State... More power to 'em! Just don't come crying to the Fed, who then siphons money from fiscally responsible states, to bail yer azz out when you go broke paying for all that bloated, corrupt and waste filled bureaucracy!

Top Gun, Fox news was reporting what the UN named McCain camp worker claimed. The news had to report it, it was news. No one ever was able to confirm it, and later that week McCain came out and said none of it was true, and he did not know why any of his campaign aids would make up such stories.

Notice in your video clip it’s the reporter reading what some UN named person claims not actual video of Sarah Palin saying it.

That same UN named source was probably the same one in this Vanity Fair clip. We will never know since they won’t let anyone say who they are. Hell they may not even exist. Vanity Fair could be making the whole thing up for all we know.

Right again, Pandora. This is once again one of those clips that make it onto the internet and paraded around as THE STORY when it is only part of it. "Insiders" made the claims about her; she denied their voracity; no evidence was produced or even available to prove either statements.

But the fact remains that there WERE staffers of McCain's that had been advising him to go with a more moderate VP, and when McCain decided otherwise they were miffed. Majorly. To the point of sabotage? Who knows.

Ask Bunz how easy a life they have up there in Alaska... Infrastructure alone is extremely costly due to building conditions and the need for constant upkeep like you can't imagine sitting in Washington.

There's a reason so much is spent 'per resident' and that's related to the harsh conditions, the shear size of Alaska (look at Bunz's avatar), and for being the largest state in the union, its 47th in population. That last part alone will skew 'per resident' statistics.

Try running those figure on a 'per mile' basis and see how Alaska stacks up.

Please note the date on the bottom of the chart Popeye is using to indict Palin as a socialist... 2005. She wasn't even elected till 2006, she didn't write her first budget till '08.

Way to use cherry picked data that's not even relevant to Palins term, intellectually dishonest much? Also, Popeye has lifted this argument from Conner Clark and tried to pass it off as his own, plagairise much?

Pandora if this isn't a direct enough credibale link to Palin's severe shortcomings then no news report of anything anywhere is.

This was FOX NEWS that would run to not cover a story negative of the Republicants at the time of this story saying it is credible information from inside the McCain campagn.

And besides this everyone with a televison set and not personally invested in covering for any Republicant candidate knows this from simply hitting the remote & opening their eyes.
