I am just answering the original statement that there could be many Gods. Philiosophy or History for that matter seems to say at a particular time and place one group is supreme otherwise the leaders would just fight among themselves. God means a supreme being. There can be no equality to surpreme.I have not given my beliefs so you do not know what they are . However as a historian terms like primitive,supersitious and ignorant to describe people of the past is misleading. Modern man is not necessary less ignorant in all fields of study. Many claim we are more superstitious than men of the past beliving in more impossible things like inevitable progresss etc.
