Romney has chosen Paul Ryan is Veep

Yes, Steve .... you are a liberal. No conservative nor Constitutional supporting American could ever support Obama, as you have more than once proclaim to do. Do not blame us for accusing you for what you have already proclaim to be ....

I don't think SteveO is a lib.

I do think he hates cops.

Im not a liberal. What you suggest i do? Dont vote? I want a 3rd party candidate. I want someone get OPEC off our backs. I want someone to make the EPA stop dictating evoinmental issues like cant drill oil here cant build new refineries. I want the pipeline from Canada and from Mexico. And Mitt Romney hasnt taking a stand on oil prices against OPEC and the EPA.And i want someone to stop preaching on saving the planet crap!

and obama will do those things ? not gonna happen

I don't think anyone is genuinely excited about Mitt Romney, but voting against him and for a man who is sworn to the destruction of the Constitution and the American way of life is ludicrous.

This election is simple. Vote for the American. Hopefully there will be better choices in the future.

How bout this. If Sarah Palin doesnt anounce her 3rd party candidacy Or if the Convention delgates dont reject Mitt Romney ill just be a no show.

If Sarah Palin thought she could win, she would have already announced. And, if you choose to handle your responsibilities as a US citizen by being a "no show" ....well, that's your business.

But, keep this in mind. A "no vote" is the same as a vote for Obama. Which is what I would suspect would be your intention all along.

I dont like Mitt. The Republican voters chose the wrong guy.

They do this with regularity...McCain ugh!....Dole ugh!....two Bush's ugh!

But my friend, four more years of BO and you will find America will be TRANSFORMED...into a socialist shit hole.

So, once again, we are voting against someone and not for someone. I have not voted for someone since '84.

So you rather have more Bullshit so that way we all can blame shit on Mitt Romney and then Hillary runs for president and Liberals can buy into more shit and we gotta put up with more Liberal bullshit in the white house in 2016. This shit has gone in circles ever since LBJ bullshit,,Then into Nixons bullshit,,And then into Carters bullshit.. And it keeps going around and around and around like a dog chases its tail.

For those who do not get out and vote Obama out of office--vote for anyone or anything but them--I dedicate this to you.
It sent 100,000,000 people to a violent and horrific and grisly death in the 20th century.
Obama's parents/grandparents sung it to him since birth thousands and thousands of times.

I prefer LESS bullshit.

More Bullshit: Vote D
Less Bullshit: Vote R

In the end, its still bullshit. But, the bright spot is the Tea Party. If lots of TP members get into Congress, they will hold Romney (should he win) to a conservative agenda and save us from a diminished future under Socialism.

At any rate, this is all a consequence of Big Government. If we had the limited government our Founders designed, Romney and Big Ears would not have so much power. When you give too much power to any human being, the people get screwed.

Time for the Tea Party to become a real and viable third party.
That is the crux of the problem in recent times.
We are rag-dolls being yanked around.

I agree ...

However, this not "the crux of the problem in recent times". This has been going on since nearly the beginning. George Washington warned us against a two-party system in his farewell address of 1796. The two-party system came into play shortly there afterwards.

"It serves to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration....agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one....against another....it opens the door to foreign influence and corruption...thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another." --George Washington Farewell Address

I am excited by both Romney and especially Ryan.

Ryan is great for the obvious reasons. Romney is great when you consider both the Democratic alternative and in context of all of our previous presidential candidates. Everyone has blemishes and he is not our perfect candidate - but hey, Jefferson would not be the perfect candidate either. Has Romney done anything worse than the worst things Jefferson did?

Romney is a great candidate in context and therefore is a great candidate worth being excited about.

And in a purely pragmatic sense if we are not excited by him then he just might not get enough votes to beaqt Obama and we can all be excited to be living in a country that has forsaken its founding and is slipping ever faster in socialism.

Look how comical it is now when Obama starts into one of his "Elmer Gantry Sermons" of the state of nations & the world..
Pathetic--and will make you puke.
I am still intrigued by his almost slipping into the much dreaded (by Harry Reid) Negro dialect at the end of sentences when his rhetoric fades off into nothingness.
The community organizer/Chi-Town--days burst forth. Reminds me of Malcom X.
Sort of Kennedy-esque is the attempt--with embarrassing failure.
Curious campaign to watch.
Need an iron stomach though.

Paul Ryan does sound like reagan in his speeches. But talk is cheap. Actions speak louder than words. What has Paul Ryan done simalar what reagan did? He didnt balance any budgets,,He didnt cut taxes,,And he didnt confront the Chinese or the North Koreans unlike Reagan bullied the Soviets and bought down the iron curtain.
