Didn't we try restrictions on alcohol? What would you do? Tax it higher? Surely not prohibition.
Marijuana does not belong on the scheduled list. The current legal status is rather absurd.

Alcohol abuse kills tens of thousands of Americans each year so why are democrats only focused on removing guns from law-abiding Americans?
 
Banning alcohol has been done, and the results were so unsuccessful, no one is going to try it again. It makes sense to remove marijuana from the scheduled drugs list, as it is not dangerously addictive like opiates, and I think citizens have a right to their own bodies.

If banning alcohol to save lives is illogical then so is taking away the gun rights of tens of millions of law-abiding Americans.
