The Big Bang was not the beginning, it is simply the point at which we can proceed no further backward.

The Universe was not designed for us to understand it.

There was no omnipotent perfect being that created the Universe, because the Universe is demonstrably not perfect. That is how we have earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, volcanoes and epidemic diseases.
