The exceedingly cool looking Aptera 3 wheel all solar vehicle seems to be benefitting from the oil crisis. I made a tiny investment in Aptera stock (SEV) two weeks ago, and it has appreciated 22% in the last 2 weeks. Current stock price is $3.36 a share. I bought it t $2.77. I expect it will be volatile until Aptera actually starts selling production vehicles, but I see this as a very determined company that will actually be in production within two years tops.

Imagine paying for NO FUEL at all to do your daily commute.

That is good news! What we really need is a fleet of vehicles that don't depend on fossil fuels to keep going. It would seem that a three wheeler might fill a Nitch, but we need some larger vehicles as well. The one thing for sure is that we cannot continue to burn petroleum at the current rate without severe consequences.

I agree that all-solar vehicles will also be needed, but as I see it, the Aptera three wheeler is the logical starting point. Once there are thousands of Apteras flitting about using no fuel at all, there will be more investment in larger vehicles with newer technologies.

Petroleum is not a renewable resource, and it is better that we use it to produce fertilizers and other petrochemicals than to burn it and pollute the atmosphere.

I presently have a Subaru Outback which I drive about 6000 miles per year. Most of my trips I am driving alone from home to appointments and stores, and I could easily use an Aptera for 95% of all the trip I take.

What I find surprising is that in three weeks the SEC stock has gained 22% in value.
