Some economist claim the underground economy is almost as big as the "regular" economy.

Do you think governments need to step in and do more in regards to this issue or do you think it is inevitable and perhaps even a good thing that we have such a large black market.

Do you think governments need to step in and do more in regards to this issue or do you think it is inevitable and perhaps even a good thing that we have such a large black market.

To the extent that the underground economy is not engaging in illegal activities and the consumer is not being defrauded it is an excellent thing. True capitalism.

I doubt it is anywhere near that big.
