Disclosure by the FBI to Congress answers a long-simmering question but does not reveal what the agents did that day.

The FBI has acknowledged it had 275 plainclothes agents in the massive crowds on Jan. 6, 2021, more than four and a half years after questions were first raised about the level of FBI involvement that day, Blaze News has learned. ...

But given the FBI’s until-now steadfast refusal to disclose the level of its presence at the Capitol, the figure might still be viewed with skepticism in some quarters.

The news comes in the wake of claims by the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Inspector General that the FBI had no undercover personnel in the Jan. 6 crowds.

I find it very odd of deaths of suicide of Jan 6th. I feel each one should be investigated in detail!

Following the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, several police officers who responded to the riot died by suicide in the following days and months
. Additionally, one rioter died of a heart attack on the day of the event.
Police officers who died by suicide
At least four officers who responded to the Capitol on January 6 later died by suicide. In recognition of the traumatic events they experienced, federal agencies and authorities in Washington, D.C., have classified some of these deaths as being in the line of duty.

• • Howard Liebengood: A 15-year veteran of the U.S. Capitol Police, Officer Liebengood was on duty during the attack and died by suicide on January 9, 2021.
  • Jeffrey Smith: An officer with the D.C. Metropolitan Police, Smith died by suicide nine days after the attack. An investigation and lawsuit initiated by his widow found that the psychological and physical trauma he sustained during the riot was the sole and direct cause of his death.
  • Gunther Hashida: An 18-year veteran of the D.C. Metropolitan Police, Hashida was found dead in his home on July 29, 2021. His death was later confirmed to be a suicide.
  • Kyle DeFreytag: An officer with the D.C. Metropolitan Police since 2016, DeFreytag was deployed to the Capitol after the riot to enforce a curfew. He died by suicide in July 2021.

• Kevin Greeson: A 55-year-old from Alabama, Greeson suffered a heart attack and collapsed on the sidewalk on the west side of the Capitol while speaking to his wife on the phone.
