The Genocide Hall of Fame Winner is...

The story of the flood occurs in chapters 6–9 of the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible. Ten generations after the creation of Adam, God saw that the earth was corrupt and filled with violence, and he decided to destroy what he had created.

if you believe the bible, it was genocide. all those corrupt and violent babies!

of course, if the bible is full of lies, then that's a different story.

"God" drowned millions: Hitler gassed millions. But they shared the same motives. Man was evil and sinful and corrupting God's plan for a Perfect World. Hitler saw that Jews were evil and corrupting his plan for a Perfect Germany.

There was on difference: Hitler was incapable of seeing the future and comprehending that his plan would result in the death of millions of loyal Nazis and the partition of Germany for 45 years.

The Biblical character known as "God" was of course, omnipotent and knows everything, including that his plan would not work and that he would have to be born as a human and crucified and suffer through a really unpleasant weekend, and still would not result in a perfect world.

Of course, "God" dose not seem to have been all that omniscient, since the best way to exterminate the entire human race would have been a virus for everyone except Noah and family. They would have an antidote or be immune. Not hard to do if one is omnipotent.\

Biblical "scholars" tend to ignore actual scholarship, which requires the ability to think logically.

The Bible is not full of lies, it is full of illogical speculation, with the specific purpose of scaring or luring gullible people into supporting a prosperous and parasitic priesthood.

Do you really believe the Noah's arc shyt?
How about immaculate conception and miracles and virgin births? Believe that also?
According to Matthew (and no one else), when Jesus actually died on the cross, there was an earthquake AND an eclipse and dead people popped up out of the ground and strolled about Jerusalem. Apparently this was not an event that Paul thought much about, because he does not mention it.

And there is also the Gaderine Swine thing. Jesus came across a crazy man, who was, as we know, possessed by demons, which is the main cause of insanity. So Jesus, being miraculous and all, drove the demons out of the man into a herd of pigs that were conveniently schlepping along nearby, and installed the demons into the pigs, which then committed suicide by jumping into the lake and drowning themselves.

I am no making this up. But I am not saying that no one made this up. Zombies and demonic swine are popular topics anywhere.

I know that shyt is in the Bible but the sad part is the godbotherers quote the Bible as if it is the ultimate source of truth.

Look at old mark. Quotes the bloody everyday thinking god will administer wrath on the heathen ungodly democrats. Nothing happens. Says it all really.

Jesus told the disciples when he would return in vague terms, saying that he did not know the day or the hour, but that God the Father did. He said that before the last of the disciples he was speaking with had tasted death, he would return. But now about 2000 years have passed, and Jesus has not appeared.

Paul told couples that they should not bother to marry as Jesus was going to appear very very soon. And people still put up signs telling is that Jesus is coming, get ready, God is gonna have a rapture and all the faithful will be electroluxed up into the sky.

Silly nonsense!

The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18

Tell us why Jesus did not think of writing his own gospel. Hell, he might have even told us when his birthday actually was! And what he was doing between the ages of 12 and 30.
There is actually a "Gospel according to Jesus Christ", and it is quite entertaining.

You really ought to read it.
And then there is this:

Which is one of the funniest books you'll ever read.
