The catholic church is obviously softening its stance on LGBTQI etc.
Many quotes from the pope are available and clearly it's an agenda.

There are billions across the world who literally hate queers etc because it's believed god told them to. In USA they ignorantly stereotype them as democrats.

If this is to continue, it places believers in a very awkward position. Do we not now accept them? It possibly isn't such a huge step.

It's well know about homosexuality amongst priests not to mention paedophilia. Perhaps it is time to religiously legalise the lot.

But if the pope did reverse a 2000 year old condemnation, where does that leave the catholic religion in respect to disobeying their god?
Are we just to morph into a tolerant society and still worship a god that condemns it? Who has made the mistake on this?
It even can be interpreted as the pope distancing from the Bible etc. Not point having gods law if it's not obeyed.

Let's assume it does happen and priests and nuns become openly gay etc. The dilemma is obviously for those who attend church but it is celebrated by a gay priest whose habits they have vilified all their lives. That is clearly against all they have been taught. So do they not attend and abandon religion? We know how Americans are so addicted to god it would have been unthinkable to continue down that dead end, so what do you do?

There are posters on here that would feel their religion is violated if the pope does it. To not do it would leave religion wallowing in its hypocrisy forever.

So what would you think of your god when this is allowed by the Catholics?
What a dilemma.
