The Republicans helping Cornel West are right for the wrong reasons.

As someone who wants the popular vote to decide every election and is against a two party system and the electoral college, I can’t help but be kind of happy that some group of people tried to do this. Clearly they want to help Trump. But I see it more as giving people a voice that neither Kamala or Trump will listen to.

Anything that puts Kamala’s still Biden Presidency at risk only makes her more likely to come to progressives. The whole reason she chose Tim Walz was because she can’t lose them and it was a first of many steps of which she hasn’t taken near enough yet.
