The tariff lie

Scandinavia does not have multimillion numbers of illegal immigrants it must feed, clothe, house, educate, and medicate on the government dime, and the number of non-working legitimate or illegitimate government dependents in Europe nowhere approaches the numbers in the US.

written as if the WarParty atrocity and warcrime in west asia and north africa had not created a flood of people fleeing militarism

maybe these immigrants should do what european migrants did to the native americans in the last 200 years - kill as many
locals as possible and steal as much of their land as possible...

as usual well out of your depth parroting false maga myths...

Sweden

Sweden has long positioned itself as a humanitarian leader, welcoming refugees and migrants with generous policies. Nearly 20 per cent of its population is foreign-born, one of the highest rates in Europe. Public sentiment has generally leaned positive. Some 63 per cent of Swedes in 2018 believed immigrants make the country better. However, the 2015 to 2016 refugee influx strained public confidence, sparking debates around crime, integration, and national identity. While attitudes have moderated since, concerns persist, particularly around security and social cohesion.

Norway

Norwegians exhibit some of the most favourable views toward immigrants in the region. A 2024 survey found that 87 per cent believe immigrants contribute positively to the workforce. Cultural diversity is broadly accepted, and forced assimilation is widely rejected. Yet attitudes dipped slightly in 2024, returning to pre-Ukraine war levels. Urban contact with immigrants tends to foster more inclusive views, while rural areas remain more sceptical. Education, age, and gender also play a role. Women and younger Norwegians are notably more welcoming.

Denmark

Denmark’s immigration debate is deeply polarised. While roughly half the population sees immigration as beneficial, political rhetoric, across both left and right, has grown increasingly negative. The country enforces some of Europe’s strictest immigration laws, including deterrence-based asylum policies and symbolic measures like relocating asylum seekers to remote areas. Public narratives often link immigration to crime and threats to Danish culture, reinforcing a climate of suspicion. Yet beneath the surface, there’s a growing civil society push for more humane approaches.

Finland

Finland’s public attitudes are more reserved, often tinged with scepticism. While immigrants report high levels of welfare access, they also face significant social barriers. Some 42 per cent say they experienced discrimination in the past year, with loneliness and exclusion especially acute among men from Africa and the Middle East. Experts urge a shift from viewing migrants as labour units to recognising them as future citizens.

Other nations may follow suit but Germany is finally fed up with the crime and violence caused by immigrants it allowed into the country without realizing the immigrants had no intention of peacefully adapting to German customs, beliefs, and laws.

Germany to extend border controls in migration crackdown

Berlin (AFP) – Germany will push on with temporary border controls beyond a September deadline as it cracks down on irregular immigration, Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt said Thursday.

Trump has a far better understanding of international finances and American security

There's nothing he's done or said to prove that. To say that to justify you addiction to the bastard is ridiculous. He's the most corrupt POTUS ever elected and in time you'll have to admit that.

than any democrat who ever opened his mouth on the subject over the last 4 decades.

Trump got elected by wisely aligning himself more closely with the conservative Christian right whom Hillary disparaged by calling them deplorable.

He did not align himself with them. They are all republicans to start with.
Hilary referred to all of them as deplorable. The description is still accurate today and you're one of them.

At least we can see that the crowd who referred to Christian conservatives as deplorables did very badly in elections.

That's irrelevant. The fact is you're all godbothering republicans.
Trump didn't have to lift a finger to get their vote. You guys elected a fascist dictator in preference to a stronger economy etc .
He has done one thing that benefits USA as a whole. Not one. You knew he was a criminal arse hole but prefered that to a Democrat of any description. That's what you think of your country.

Remind me how god was involved in trumps election wins. Trump was around for 70 years prior to his election. Did you thank god for that also?

From what I know, it was votes but I could be wrong.

I believe Trump was right to side with God on the issue of abortion and leftist sex perversion.

There was no threat to anyone in the USA from Vietnam, Iraq or Afghanistan.
In Vietnam, the US wanted to reimpose French colonialism and then replace the French as the colonizer.
In Iraq, it sent a woman ambassador to Baghdad who told Saddam that "the US does not take a stand on the borders of Middle East countries, causing Saddam to think he would get away with seizing Kuwait, in Afghanistan, it demanded that the Taliban leader Sheik Omar, turn over Bin Laden to the US, and then failed to capture him at Bora Bora.

You can disagree with those who supported the Vietnam War but that does not make you right. You can disagree with foreign policy decisions if you like. I certainly disagreed with many foreign policy decisions over the last 15 years.

Everyone agrees that the Vietnam war was unwinnable. Vastly more Iraqis were killed, wounded and displaced from their homes as a result of Cheney and Juniorbush's invasion (a result of sending a female ambassador to say something stupid to Saddam) than Saddam did.

A short pursuit of Bin Laden might have been useful, but a 20 year war in Afghanistan costing a trillion that ended up with the Taliban back in power was not a success in anyone's book.

Unwinnable or not is a matter of opinion as well as a factor influenced by politics. Leftists fought like hell against the Vietnam War and even bombed federal buildings and slandered innocent US troops in their uncivilized opposition. If the war was unwinnable it is in part thanks to the tireless efforts of rebels and rioters who helped shape political decisions at the time.

Yes, Americans died as a result of Muslim terror attacks and Muslims died as a result of appropriate responses of Americans to those attacks.

Bill Clinton later admitted his intelligence agents recommended he take out Bin Ladin years before 9-11-2001, but he did not do it.

You BELIEVE? I'll ask again. How was god involved?
Are you saying Trump had an audience with god prior to the debate? How could he possibly had an interaction with a god?
You are fucking brain dead delusional. Sided with god???
What a load of bullshyt.
It was the godbotherers who introduced god into the debate thinking you were all doing God's work when Clearly there is no god.

Trump has never read a page of a Bible.
