Note that every time we have had a political breakthrough regarding black people in this country it ends in anger and unrest.

You had the civil rights act in 1964 and the voting rights acts in 1965. Then the war on poverty measures were passed in 1965 as well as massive urban renewal.
From 1965-1968 we had riots in many of our major cities. LA-Chicago-Detroit-Newark etc.

Obama becomes the first black president and after 8 years in office race relations are much worse then when he came in. Most of it was not his fault either. It pertains to expectations and reality.

Once blacks realize that economic success comes from your own efforts and talents they become frustrated. Blacks expected massive social and economic change under Obama and when it didn't happen they get angry. As I have said many times on these threads the reasons blacks are struggling is because of poor family structure, attitude and aptitude. When reality hits they become angry and blame whitey and republicans which is exactly what democrats want.

I agree to a large extent. Black Americans have been groomed by shifty democrats to become dependent on the government, and yes the expectations many blacks including some of my family was heightened.
I grew up on a farm and wasn't given shit by the government as a matter of fact they often enacted policy's and regulations that helped the decline of the small farmer.
