We are gun society of as many 400 million guns . changing a few minor things like joe wants will not help mich some but not a lot.

Stiffer Penalty's for those caught with guns who can not own one regardless of why. Stiffer penalty's for armed robbery that hurt . none of this 1 or 2 year crap but 15 and 20 years in a real jail .
Bring back stop and frisk for all police .
Add a few more cops especially in more rural settings for sheriff offices

People need to know if you break reasonable gun laws you face a severe punishment. Do not punish thr honest gun owners and we are tens of not hundreds of millions.
