The Dems have lost their minds. They are a bunch of f-ing traitors.

Dems Stand and Cheer as Calderon Bashes Arizona Law
By Doug Powers • May 20, 2010 04:02 PM

If Jan Brewer had been the territorial governor of Hawaii in 1941 and these same Democrats were in charge, they would have applauded the Pearl Harbor attack, had a State Dinner for Hirohito, and the memorable quote from Obama’s post-attack speech would have been, “The only thing we have to fear is that the Hawaiian authorities will start profiling Japanese.”

Think about it — a foreign leader comes to the U.S., bashes a state within the U.S. for doing something that it’s well within their constitutional rights to do, and Democrats stand and cheer. This isn’t surprising but it never ceases to be amazing.

Yeah Democrats being against racial profiling is much worse than Republicans trying so hard to block critically necessary Heath Insurance Reform or Wall St. Financial Reform.

I think if you look at it for real the Democrats are actually a whole bunch better than the Teabag alternative.

"Felipe Calderon received liberal plaudits for falsely claiming Arizona's new immigration law uses racial profiling, but that wasn't the only baloney the Mexican president peddled during his state visit. Over four minutes of his Thursday address to Congress was spent lecturing Americans to renew the federal Assault Weapons Ban that sunset in September 2004. His justifications for the ban were all garbage. Mr. Calderon claimed that guns covered by the federal ban were particularly 'powerful weapons.' While the term 'assault weapons' may conjure up visions of military hardware, the inside guts of these feared guns are essentially the same as deer hunting rifles. The firing mechanisms in semiautomatics and machine guns are completely different. ... 'If you look carefully, you will notice that the violence in Mexico started to grow a couple of years before I took office in 2006,' Mr. Calderon said. 'This coincides, at least, with the lifting of the [U.S.] assault weapons ban in 2004.' ... Mr. Calderon's claim that 80 percent of guns used in Mexican crimes come from the United States is completely false. Most weapons seized in Mexico have traceable serial numbers that show they come from countries other than the United States. The 80 percent number reflects how many guns sent to the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for tracing end up being from America. Most weapons seized in Mexico aren't transferred to U.S. authorities, so that figure is meaningless for calculating overall totals. It is offensive for Mr. Calderon to come here as our guest and make up facts to blame America for Mexico's many problems. But it was more frightening to witness Democratic House and Senate members jump up and give a standing ovation when the foreigner called for renewing the Assault Weapons Ban. That's a warning all American gun owners should heed." --The Washington Times

So true and yet, dems gave the Mexican fool a standing O. What does that say about them?

It tells us that the Dems are rational and try to work together with other countries and not just cowboy muck up the world like Bush did.

Or more graphically put...

Nice try Pops, but you are wrong again.

It tells us they are traitors and refuse to abide by the law of the land. The law is not racial profiling as your lib media outlets have told you.

I know its hard for you to accept, but the Dems want amnesty so they will get 20M new voters and millions on their dole. Its all about power and control by dems.

typical bull Right wing nonsense...as always anyone who does not agree with them...hates America and is a traitor...does it not ever get old being wrong and just yelling you hate America as if it was a good debate tactic?

Come on pockets...I never said they hated America. They are making too much money to hate America. They just hate the Constitution and the fact that most Americans want this invasion of illegals stopped. 20 million new Dems voters is what they want with many living on welfare...now that is a Dems dream constituency.

my Bulll**** just went off the charts

First, you call them Traitors, but no they don't hate America...more worthless pointless crying from a person who has nothing to offer but hate and rants...God forbid anyone ever just flat out does not agree with you without being a godless commie, hating America, or being a Traitor...WE all just forget, you are the decider of what is and what is not American...Realy just Pathetic

and When the Dems started talking Immigration Reform..why is it all the Right wing nuts started crying its just playing politics, and its not the right time with the Election and all that....why? Because you like to Cry and moan and rant and rave,,,,but God Forbid you ever actually fix anything, or do anything...or God forbid Compromise and do anything thats not 100% pure and holy Super conservative views ( that of course are ignored when you see fit)

you cry , you moan, you do nothing, and are nothing..its no wonder 8 years of Republicans in the white house did so little for anyone not selling oil or Weapons.

If only the Republicans had a majority in the House and Senate, as well as a Republican president in the WH, why illegal immigration would end! The law would be enforced, if only the Republicans were in charg.... What? Six years? Just a few years back? Amnesty signed into law by... Reagan!!!

No, no, can't be! The Republicans are the ones who want to end illegal immigration. It is the traitorous Democrats who won't enforce the law, the Democrats, I tell you!

I don't believe you are right with that THC1.

Why do you libs counter an argument by condemning the opposing party? I know it’s your nature to argue nonsensically, but I am not a Republican.

Have you forgotten that the dipsh*t Bush wanted to grant amnesty?

No, I haven't forgotten that.

In fact, that supports my argument.

It is not just the Democrats who aren't enforcing the immigration laws, but the federal government.

The OP seemed to be placing the blame on one party. I think we probably agree that it is a bipartisan failure, don't we?

One party is much more likely to give amnesty. The Dems cheered a Mexican president who was spouting lies. The Rs did not stand and cheer him.

The Republicans didn't stand and cheer.

OK, so we know where the Democrats stand on the issue of illegal immigration. I think we know where the Republicans stand, too, even if they aren't open enough about it to stand and cheer.

Past actions speak louder than applause, after all.

But, since you're not a Republican, you're not cheering for either party, correct?

No.

I think most of the Rs know a majority of the American people do not want amnesty and want the border closed. Under W they went along with him on so much liberal BS, but under BO they will not. Witness McCain's miraculous change of mind on the illegals (of course this is disingenuous of the Rs and Little Johnny since most are up for re-election this year). But, at least they are listening to the people which of course BO and the Dems do not do.

Do you really think any of them are listening to the people? Did the people just recently come to the conclusion that illegal immigration was a bad idea and should be addressed? Sorry, but I don't think so. I think the voters have been in favor of securing the border and ending illegal immigration for some time now. If the Republicans have been listening, why didn't they do something when they were in power? Republicans calling Democrats "traitors" for supporting amnesty is a great example of the pot judging the kettle.

Mouthing support for border security may be politically advantageous, which is why we are hearing what we want to hear from the Republicans. Past actions speak louder than words, however, and make it perfectly clear than neither party is willing to address illegal immigration in any meaningful way.
