The private sector lost a whopping 32,000 jobs in September, the payroll company ADP said on Wednesday, as President Donald Trump's idiotic tariffs have cut into business' profit margins and led to layoffs all across the country.

"Despite the strong economic growth we saw in the second quarter, this month's release further validates what we've been seeing in the labor market, that U.S. employers have been cautious with hiring," ADP Chief Economist Nela Richardson said in a news release.
The decline in jobs was a shock. Economists expected the ADP report to show a net increase of 52,000 jobs.

ADP also revised the August jobs number down, saying that the private sector lost 3,000 jobs that month. Ultimately, that means the private sector has lost jobs in three out of the last four months, per ADP estimates.

What's more, since the start of April, when Trump first announced his moronic "Liberation Day" tariffs, the private sector has added only 135,000 jobs on net, per ADP's reports—a paltry number that is not nearly enough to keep up with the needs of the American labor market.

I predicted this from the outset. They were told by Trump what he intended. None of them understood the consequences or hated democrats so much, were prepared to sacrifice the country just to stop them.

There's little doubt his destruction will continue until the country is on its knees. Its a fascist trademark and history proves it.

Schumer didn't shut down the government. Republicans did with their draconian proposal that no one should agree to. Trump would be foolish to fire a bunch of people. The Republican budget is why Democrats refused to vote to pass it. Repubicans are trying to hold the country hostage, forcing Democrats to agree to draconian legislation that will make millions suffer. So then it is the Republicans that caused the shutdown.

I know the losers are not happy with republicans fulfilling their campaign promises but republicans cannot stab Americans in the back by refusing to honor their campaign promises to trim the budget of pork. If democrats want the governmnet to open back up they will have to give up their hostage demands that the majority of American voters rejected in Nobvember 2024.

The losers here are the American people. Voting is not a sporting event. So the problem here is that Repubicans have not kept their promises. The majority of Americans did not vte, so the majority of Americans also rejected what Republicans are offering right now. 77 million voted for trump. 86 million did not vote. That's the majority.
