Roughly 500,000 Israeli settlers and about three million Palestinians live in the West Bank, where the Israeli military holds overriding control. Israeli troops regularly raid Palestinian cities and restrict the movement of Palestinians. All of the people of Gaza have been held as hostages for 65 years. And there is no dispute over the West Bank: it is clearly Palestinian territory. There are over a thousand Palestinians currently who have been abducted and imprisoned withe out charges or trial by the Israelis.
