I can only see 3 reasons for him to lie about it that are reasonable and likely.knowing you Have would guess you have a long list of excuses .
Now you can claim he was eating ice cream and had brain freeze.
You can claim he just forgot also.
Or that he suffered temporary memory lost due to falling up the stairs.
Or maybe a witch put a spell on him.
You could claim he just forgot or he did not understand the question.
But ask your self why would he lie about it.
How did he benefit for it.
To me there are few reasons.
1. his mental health is slipping.
2. He is guilty of taking money in a pay the play scam hunter was involved in.
3, he lied to protect his son and other family members.and his office
