Will teddybear start WW III?

Apparently, the US army is building a teddybear robot to carry wounded soldiers across the battlefield. It immediately made me think of the Ghostbusters film where they are attacked by a giant, evil looking, marsmellowman. Imagine the horrorscenarios that could follow, a friendly, even cuddly looking teddybear robot gone beserk in the heat of battle.....
Check out this article http://www.associatedcontent.com/image/18261/the_bear_robot.html

It says "The BEAR will initially be operated remotely, but will eventually have autonomous behavior software that will allow it to be controlled more easily."

And there's a picture of a robot carrying a very uncomfortable looking soldier with it ;)

could we be the generation that started World War III because of a malfunctioning teddybear?
