Democrats hope against hope that killing Kirk will stop his influence the same way they had hoped killing Trump would stop his. Democrats are notoriously stupid or deluded.

Nonetheless, I think that the Turning Point will vanish in the way that the Tea Party. I seriously doubt that Kirk's widow will have the alleged "debating skills" that Charlie had. Of course, he did NOT have serious debating skills, as most of what he passed off as said skills were just logical fallacies. Also, he took the microphone away from anyone who seemed likely to beat him.
