You honestly expect a poll posted by DickMorris.com to be taken seriously? That's like taking a Micheal Moore moving seriously at face value. Please quit contributing to the destruction of this nation by feeding into the hate and posting polls about seniors who are more then likely Republicans who hate Obama anyways. Same goes for the Democrats. This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about with the left and the right. And yet AARP has been running commercials in favor of national health care. According to their poll, nearly 80% of Americans favor the "public option."

All: 79 percent favor/18 percent oppose
Democrats: 89 percent favor/8 percent oppose
Republicans: 61 percent favor/33 percent oppose
Independents: 80 percent favor/16 percent oppose

Your link does not go to any poll. It goes to a right-wing opinion piece that refers to some poll, but does not give a link to it so that the data can be examined. Their opinion does not have any more validity than yours does.

Notable, is the fact that 33 + 59 = 92. (Notice that these are numbers not percentages)In what data evaluation method does a sampling of 92 elderly persons out of millions become statistically significant? Please stop playing the fool, you are embarrassing yourself.

LOL over 60 thousand people dumped their membership to AARP in less than a month, more has since then. The elderly who dumped thier memberships to AARP said it was because AARP no longer speaks for them by backing this healthcare bill.

If they dont agree with a new government program they must be punished with taking away the program they have now and I woud assume paid for via Social Security. Not exactly sure how they got it to start with so I assume its something they paid into while working.

Yes, perhaps as many as 99.84% do like it. Of course, it's probably not that many, but at least we know that 99.84% don't dislike it enough to resign their membership in AARP.

What you fail to see, is they were forced to pay into the system so they are entitled to get the beneifit. If the govt hadn't muddled with the money, and maybe, just maybe, invested some of it, Medicare wouldn't be on it's way to broke
