Gregory Mocks LaPierre for Proposing Armed Guards, but Sends Kids to High-Security School

David Gregory mocked the NRA's Wayne LaPierre for proposing that armed guards be at every school in America. But the NBC host seems to have no problem with armed guards protecting his kids everyday where they attend school in Washington, D.C.

The local Junior College in my area has a police department right on campus and has had for years. There has also been a heavy presence of police around the high schools for years.

Those "myths" seem to come directly out of the head of gun fanatics and the NRA marketing department.

Yep. . .it was quite a convoluted plan, wasn't it? Who would have thought that Israel would "sell" arms to Iran to fund the Contras. . .just to assure that the Reagan administration could go around the Congress ordinance to NOT fund the contras?

Talk about "cause of impeachment!" Which of course never happened, and even the "lower on the totem poll" were pardoned by Bush!

You and all good Americans have been financing a national defense system that is many times greater than any other country in e world and, whether youwant toacknowledge it or not, there is NO WAY that private citizens (especially as politically divided as they are today) could EVER arm themselves enough to fight the huge war machine YOU have been promoting all this time!

How will citizens, even armed with semi-automatic weapons, resist the forces of the Amrican Government military might?

Will a semi automatic be a, appropriate defense against drones? Against tanks? Against chemical weapons? Against smallsize nuclear war heads?

If you really believe that the semi automatics and the hand guns you so cherish for your defense are a match to "prevent government over reach" you are deluding yourself.
