MIT & Health-Care Legislation: Republicans Are LYING!!!

We care more about health care than democrats. That's why we don't want the democrats to screw it up and add more and more layers of govt involvement in peoples lives.

It's not the Fed govt's place to provide health care irregardless of the party that has the majority.

If the states want to do something, that's their business, but the Federal Govt is not responsible for that.

So I don't care that Bush didn't do anything. If Obama was so pro - constitutional as eh says.. he'd understand it's not his place to do anything.

But Obama loves the liberal idea that the bigger the govt the better. It's a joke!

First off you guys are too busy giving hand outs to the rich to even know who needs what. Sorry to tell ya but the country can't operate without tax money.

Secondly the Federal government absolutely can and should get involved to help it's people in matters of great need. If not you'd have hundreds of similar examples of what we used to have in the south with schools. Pockets of sub par segregated schools. And I mean so sub par that it makes under performing schools today look like MIT.

It's very clear in fact that the Federal government is expected to help.


We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Gee.. it sounds like an expansion of Medicare... which is exactly what I said to begin with.
 
Why is less than 10% considered a great need?
Not to mention, but managing that kind of program centrally never works. That's the main reason why there is waste and fraud in medicare.

That's why the states limited the government to what it could control. The states knew the shortcomings of a centralized government .. back then.. when the country was in it's infancy.

If you think that the congressional leaders that started medicare envisioned it almost bankrupt and full of fraud and abuse, you gotta be kidding.

They surely thought that they could do something like that. The fact and the proof is here. It is not working that great.

Sure seniors get care (however, medicare rejects more claims that any private insurer)..
but why is it going broke?

Let the states take care of it. That way people in those states can vote for it and use their own states tax money for it.

Obama gave plenty to AIG and the Unions. Plenty. How come you never mention that.

You think the Unions deserved to be put in front the the bond holders at Chrysler and GM? Really?

What about Fannie and Freddie. They didn't get their bonuses taxed or taken away. There was no outrage from Obama. None!!!!

Giving incentives to those that create jobs is not a bad idea. That's what tax cuts to the rich do.

That's what Obama's considering now in his new "JOBS" program. He is finally understanding that you can't build the economy from the bottom up. Not gonna happen. It hasn't anywhere else in the world.

The rich create products , services and make investments to start business that employ people.

The rich also spend money on high ticket items that generate sales tax, and support businesses like Limo's, yacht's , Vacationing, fine clothes and jewlery

Take them out of the equation and the yacht builder lays of people. And the vacation destinations become less traveled.

Keep on this progressive agenda and all the wealthy will leave and no one will be left to provide jobs.. Except the govt.
