More attacks on liberty

The attacks on liberty have become commonplace it seems. So much so that the word Liberal has lost all meaning and even a Republican will attempt to stifle free speech:

A funny thing here. For weeks we have been hearing how unfair it was that the OWS paid no fees to protest but the Tea party did. Why did none of us stop to realize that the existence of the fees themselves were a problem?

well strictly speaking the TEA Party had rallies promoting a better way while the occupations themselves were not protests but squatting between protests.

want to use a public space for a defined event ? leave it like you found it but yes, skip the arbitrary moneymaking.

want to be a vagrant ? move along or pay some rent.

By the President of the United States to support OWS and demonize the Tea Party is disgraceful in my opinion. The President is publicly showing his disdain for hard working Americans and his support for the miscreants and takers in our society. This President is an enemy of the American people who support this nation and run it.

That seems to be the case. He appears to have just a few items on his list: green energy, AGW, Unions, crony socialism, fay rights, and his reelection. Is there anything he has not done to advance one of these?

I would argue that the coined word "crony socialism" makes more sense than the well known word "crony capitalism" which technically does not exist since cronyism and capitalism are antithetical.

yeah its not capitalism and while it should have nothing to do with classic socialism, all that ever was in practice was making different 'haves'.
