Question?

Being new here, I can't figure out how to imbed a youtube video in a post? (I click on the "Youtube" icon (above) that says "wrap (youtube) tags around selected text"....but the video doesn't appear...Just the text???

You're halfway there. If you want a YouTube video posted, use, correctly as you mentioned, the "

function on either side. But in between these two, add instead of the direct link to the video, use the embed text of the video, which is posted on the right hand side or underneath the YouTube videos. An embed text can look like this:
