Can an government/economic system that increasingly confiscates the property of productive citizens and gives that property (after government takes a good chunk) to unproductive citizens survive?

Our president is not smarter than a 5th grader.

It WOULD seem that all of our politicians contribute to the problem, it is, as Jefferson said, the nature of government to grow and usurp power. Some politicans do it with that end in mind and some do it with other ends in mind. Either way, it is up to us to keep limits in place.

Although US libs have always tended toward socialism, their real roots and current orientation is fascism. This is because they try, and have frequently succeeded, in getting the private entities of society, notably corporations, to serve their statist ends.
