What do you think the US will look like in 20 years time?

China will have overtaken it economically. India will be on the way to doing the same thing. If Europe unites it too will surpass the US.

Manufacturing will be finished as cheaper, better goods get made in the far east.

Will its aggressive foreign policy get even worse at it struggles to keep its oil dependent economy propped up a little longer? Which could provoke world war.

What do you think?

What do you think?

Aggressive foreign policy? Is that what you call preemptively attacking countries with no provocation? What was once thought to be unthinkable not that long ago, has now become the norm..

And the way things are going, looking at the legislation passed...they'll be drones filling the skies, more and more innocents dying on the ground. Not just in foreign countries, but right here as well. For the government has it's own war against the American people going on..commonly known as the War on Drugs..

Indeed, the war on drugs is going well isn't it?

Not

Aggressive policy includes the unprovoked attack on other countries but it also includes international bullying, funding coup attempts, supplying weapons etc

The WoD..what a joke. Or I should say..what a scam. It's anything but humorous when people's lives are affected negatively, and even sometimes ruined, by being busted for using something as innocuous as pot.

Those perpetuating this BS, which includes both major parties, are all riding the drug war gravy train.

I'd be interested in seeing supporting evidence ESP as China and Japan are massively different and Japan is coming back stronger than ever following the earthquake.

The fact is that China owns the US and if it called its loans in the US is toast.

I think you give china to much credit, China is going to Fragment and run into major economical issues very much like Japan did ...but worse as it has such a huge income gap.
We agree... Doesn't that make you feel dirty?

China is running out of water and will be facing a massive ecological disaster within the next few decades. Their measures to mitigate that coming disaster will start the ball rolling on a total economic collapse that begins with huge losses in agriculture and eventually create civil unrest that will destroy the country.

The repeated failures of officialdom are creating a tragedy. More than 400 of China's 655 cities lack sufficient water. There are almost 200 million unnecessary illnesses and 60,000 unnatural deaths due to water problems.
...
Rivers are dry, and deserts advance from the north. Today they now cover more than 27% of the country's land. The figure increases each year as the sands move south, both in the eastern and western portions of the country. This relentless process has seen China's deserts merge as they swallow up more precious land.
...
A few summers ago the Science and Technology Ministry warned, "The water resources crisis even threatens the future survival of the Chinese nation." If anything, things have gotten worse since then. Central government policies are leading the Chinese state to an ecological disaster for which there is no remedy.
As for the portion of our debt owned by China, the US Federal Reserve is the single largest holder of US debt. But as for the future of America, it depends on which direction we go as a nation. Either we continue to follow European policies right into bankruptcy and total economic collapse, or we reverse course and head back towards the direction of real Capitalism.

Hmm... wouldn't let me finish.

President Bieber, citing Congressional deadlock, decides to step down

In a move reminiscent of Lyndon Johnson in '68, Justin Beiber has opted not to run for a second term. It seems his frustration with Congress' inability to even decide what to serve for lunch in the Senate cafeteria has made him decide to trade the power of the WhiteHouse for the potential wealth of becoming a lobbyist. Meanwhile, Congress is deadlocked on the issue, with Senator Miley Cyrus declaring that hamburgers are real American food, while Pizza is Italian and therefor socialistic. Senate Democrats are holding out for the tasty Italian treat, and won't back down. Meanwhile, the issue of the mounting debt, now exceeding two hundred trillion is not being addressed.

I live in Porkopolis, so I see flying pigs every day.

"...Meanwhile, the issue of the mounting debt, now exceeding two hundred trillion is not being addressed."

That much will probably be true.

you're not buying President Beiber and Senator Cyrus?

In twenty years' time most big US cities will be ghettos run by gangs.

Unemployment will be running at 25 %+

Crime will be endemic

In fact it will be like Cormack Mcarthy's 'the road'

We agree, but only if your side wins. That is to say, Leftism wins. And I think that very unlikely.

It has already won

I have told you time after time that China owns the US.

I would have thought that dinosaurs like you would have had the presence of mind to keep views like the one above to your weekend national guard meetings.

Anyway, once more for the hard of understanding...

THE COMMUNISTS HAVE WON

Isn't that just hilarious?

Communism is dead. The only Communist nations left on Earth are Cuba, and perhaps North Korea. Communism doesn't work, and when a system doesn't work it goes away. In case no one noticed, the US won the cold war two decades ago, and the Soviet Union is no more.
