The only thing I have an issue with there is taxes on doctors. That will only hurt the poor.

No it wont.It might force docs go back and work in the Hospital where the Adminstraitors tell them how to their jobs. Its like going back to work for a boss instead of you being your own boss.

so if your a public defender, defending the rights of the poor...or a DR working in a free clinic....you should be taxed more?

also my former zip code has some of the richest and wealthiest people in the state ( considered one of the most wealthy county in the US as Well) we lived off away from the area of the realy rich area, in middle class housing that we only could pay for due to a realy good deal as house had been on market for a year after seller moved out of state and just needed to dump it) and also in the same zip code...a Mobil home park....

Simplistic ideas like this to just attack the Rich...don't help anyone

Yeah...taxing the rich more (which leads to less revenue to the US Treasury) to give to a bloated ineffective government makes sense....to the mentally ill.

Yeah taxing the rich more only leads to more unemployment for the lower classes...so it makes sense to tax them more thinks the mentally ill.

Taxing the rich results in less private investment and causes the rich to seek havens to stash their cash outside the country leading to more unemployment of the lower classes and less revenue to the US Treasury... but hey class warfare is a wonderful thing...so thinks the mentally ill.

not anymore,, The IRS is cracking down on it . And if you watched 60 minutes how the rich hides money and diamonds from US Customs better watch out now US Customs will hold you for a long peroid of time to make sure youre not slipping revinue from the IRS.

Those are not good enough reasons. These are:
We spend more money on the welfare state every year but poverty doesn't go down. The forced redistribution of wealth doesn't work to eliminate poverty.

Toys of the Ultra Rich
Class envy and class warfare on parade...

So you tax them more and they can't afford a private jet, that will put a couple pilots and the flight crew out of a job, not to mention the people who build the aircraft and the mechanics who maintain it. But who cares if they all lose their jobs, right? You'll feel better about yourself because you've empowered government to stick it to those evil rich fat cats and that's all that counts.

Steve and Rogen, you both have a lot to learn about life.

Yep, the rich definitely have more than we do.

That's a good justification for taking it away from them.

Ask any thief.

Considering the fact that the wealthest actually pay the least amount of taxes, and many are putting their money in tax shelters (legal and illegal) so they don't have to pay any taxes at all, I would not call it redistribution of wealth at all. I would call it a sense of friggin fairness. This has nothing to do with envy of the rich or any other lie ther Republicans might wanna drum up to make excuses for their party of no. What it has to do with is trying to prevent this country from becoming yet another New World banana republic when 1% of the population holds 95% of the wealth and the rest are sucking on scraps. Oh wait...too late.

;)

Any actual evidence of this?

"It has nothing to do with envy of the rich", it is just about not allowing 1% of the population to hold wealth that they earned...that about sum up your point?
