Carpet bombing drug traffickers is not an effective way to fight smugglers. The proper way to stop smugglers in boats is to stop the boat examine the cargo and arrest anyone smuggling drugs. You cannot stop fentanyl from entering the US from Venezuela because Venezuela does not produce fentanyl.

Lefties have all sorts of ideas they think would stop the flood of drugs into the US, but they do not understand that disarming the police, legalizing drugs, doing away with bails, restricting or hobbling police arrests, opening US borders to all sorts of evils including free passage for drugs, and so forth, are stupid unworkable ideas.
